I'm back from JAPAN! Reached singapore yesterday around 8 plus close to 9 then took a taxi back home. Ran to have a shower and watched my beloved tv. I missed it like LOADS LOADS when i was away. everytime i see a big screen showing whatever junk i'll just stare at it cause it resembled a tv the most(: so here's a list of what happened, shall try to do it day by day and everything out. oh, and something REAL BAD happened to me during my trip, read on to find out! X)
08112007: reached japan finally after like 8hrs of flying and 2 hrs of waiting at bangkok airport for transit or something. then met auntie josey and her husband at the air port. It was like free air-con 24/7 everywhere, and it's freezing cold! then just took the car and went to our hotel. it's called hotel Kitcho, and i love the receptionist lady there cause she's very friendly and funny(: then just went for dinner, didnt go out to do much other than see the area.
the rest of the events i cant remember when was the day so i shall just state what happened roughly in order(:
went to look at nature near the countryside where there was persimmon, apple, pear and orange trees grown everywhere in the households. Very nice and orange-y, my favourite colour(: then saw many little waterfalls and also this "Monkey Bridge" where it said to have lotsa monkeys around and the scenery is gorgeous. then ate and ate again.
Went to Mount Fuji too. But i didnt really enjoyed it cause something happened to me like real bad. I stepped out of the car and attempted to shift the seat forward but failed. then i stepped back to let my dad do it. i moved back bit by bit till i hit this knee-height rock which was part of the design there. i turned around and couldnt stop myself from falling over it and somersaulted over it. Everything happened very quickly and i landed head first and i twisted my left wrist quite badly while trying to push myself away from the rock. I lied on the floor and my head hurt like it never hurted that badly before. Whats worse was the floor i landed was uneven with slates of rock tiles or something. I couldnt even feel my left hand and it just went numb while the wrist hurt like ^&#*&&*$&*%$#*& seriously. Then i cried and was brought inside some shop then not long after auntie josey say we better leave now and send me to a hospital. In the end i said i didnt want to go to a hospital and she called to cancel it. At least i manage to see the tip of Mount Fuji a little with the white snow on it. Now i'm feeling much better but my wrist is still a little swollen and i cant move it left right except back and forth.
Went to this huge place where there were all the stores like nike, adidas, coleman, 22 octobre and stuff all in one place--> premium outlets. then bought this glossy black adidas bag which looked like leather inside with a plastic covering. then rushed to have dinner which is mac. the cheeseburger there is much nicer than singapore's one cause it's like melting cheese and real juicy meat. They close very early around 8 plus and we were the last customers.
We tried something new--> hot springs. The results are good, but the process is scary. You would have to go in naked like TOTALLY naked. And there were so many female young and old. You dont strip in the toilet but publicly outside the hot springs among the lockers to put your valuables. To think my sis would be the most unwilling and scared but it turned out to be my mum in the end. I quickly stripped unwillingly and covered the front part of my body with a small piece of towel and went to shower at one of the small taps there. The indoor hot springs is seriously HOT HOT BURNING HOT. Couldnt even sit on the pavement cause the bum really burns. Then went out to the outdoor one where it's much cooler a bit but still very hot. Then the reason for it was because we were very near the source. But the feeling is okay once you entered the pool of water. The sulphur smells like waxed duck or something, very unpleasant. Everytime someone moves a bit, the water would poke your skin like a million needles. haha, then left hurriedly without feeling the least cold(:
Went to around 3 100yen shops. The exchange rate was 100yen=$1.30. Then bought some stuff there. Nothing much actually, just alot of variety but couldnt buy much cause the luggage wont fit at all. Then went to this mall like Giant+Ikea near auntie josey's house. Then finally found my toy capsules but it wasnt very nice and every machine was 200yen-expensive. then saw another adidas shoulder bag. the design is nice but it's a shoulder bag. Then my mum saw and say nice and she bought it cause she say she could use it too and it looked nice on her too. haha, what logic.
Lastly, DISNEYLAND! It was fun, but the queue was horrifying and irritating cause it's real long. And they always cheat your feelings! The queue outside might look short but when you thought you were reaching the end they bring you further into the building wher the queue continues. ARGH!! But we managed to sit for 4 rides so not so bad. There was this train ride around disneyland, this roger rabbit car ride, "it's a small world" boat ride and also a 3D movie which was damn cool and shocking. haha, all the rides are nice! Then there was also this ride on Winnie the Pooh which is a favourite there but you would have to wait a minimum of like 3 hrs for a ride which lasts less than 2 minutes? Then went to the sovenir shops to see and buy a LITTLE BIT of things cause the things there are very expensive. Then saw the parade which was very lovely and left cause the fireworks were cancelled i think.
Overally, everything was nice especially Disneyland and the food there. But i rather Singapore, cause the lifestyle there is seriously boring. The men go o work, most women are housewives. 95% of the men there all wear suits and they do everything ALONE. My dad was right, they all seriously look like robots. But what the heck, i love Singapore and glad to be living here(: And if you ever go to Japan on your own/not on a tour group, please remember to tell the shop owner that you ARE FROM SINGAPORE cause apparently they hated people from China cause some person from China killed someone from japan i think. It's something like that. So they would be very afraid of people like our skin colour and they dont like to do business with anyone but Japanese. So yah, thats about it. i took a LOONG time typing this so be appreciative(: haha, okay byeee.
