Very tired now and really wanna sleep but shall blog before i forget and also while waiting for my hair to dry. Just came back from parent teacher dialogue which ended around like 10 plus? Would be blogging very briefly about the 3 orientation days(:
1st day(02012008): Was in charge of sec 1e4 together with melissa, ju zhong and fabian. Then met and said hello to all the students in the class and other classes. At first very quiet but once they got to know us and their classmates they got superbly HIGH, but in the wrong energy. Couldnt know them that well cause the first day was just all the talks then a few cheers and thats about it.
2nd day(03012008): We've gotten alot more time to spend with the students cause today was more on us. So we did cheers and bonded and got to know the class much better. Then went to classroom for campfire preparation and more cheers as there was going to be campfire tonight. Took us alot of our energy and time just to settle them. It wasnt entirely the sec 1s fault as there was that ONE person that i freakishly cant stand and despite the warning still continued to talk non-stop! Ugh, so not helping anything. Then last minute just did the short skit and some cheers for the item.
Then came the decision of whether the sec 3 and sec 2 are down for campfire. hell LOADS of discussions/disagreements/misunderstanding/misinterpretation of info and loads of stuff. the sec 4s were all like pissed and troubled with loads of things. SL wasnt involved yet as they just went for their duties for the tour around school i think. In the end we just allowed everyone to come for the campfire. Though we didnt win and i got pissed quite a number of times, i still loved the class becaue of the people in there(: I know that they have at least tried, just wasnt good enough. Then they dismissed while we leaders talked about the 3rd day.
3rd day, which is today!(04012008): Really loved today cause the sec4 girls all had MISSION SEMINAR(: It was very fun, entertaining and touching and loads of stuff. In short, it was fabulous! Everyone cried and hugged each other at the end of the seminar and really loved all the sharing. At first we thought it would be stupid but it turned out to be totally different thing. We cried and stuff, but it was all worth it for sure.
AND I REALLY WANNA THANK JOYLU FOR STANDING UP AND THANKING EVERYONE ESPECIALLY NETBALLERS(: IT WAS REALLY APPRECIATED AND SOME NEAR-CRY MOMENTS, BUT THE LOVE MESSAGE WAS DELIVERED(:
Then went for sec 1 orientation after the mission seminar. Really missed it once we left the MPR. it seems that the sec3 and sec2 have taken over the sec4 in the leading of the classes which one a good thing. Then cheers again followed by talent scouting. Then had march by the NPCC and NCC. The NPCC one was nice, but the NCC had great leaders or whatever you call them too! Some hiccups there but it wasnt the seniors(sec4) fault, nor the juniors fault. hahaha, i dont know who's fault. maybe no one is at fault. The NCC could do much better than what they showed us. According to bell they went around the classes to apologize. Since they apologize we must also forgive and forget cause we cant really blame them. With only half an hour to come up with a drill is super tough. IT'S OKAY YU DE!
Then after that rushed and helped parent-teacher dialogue. Loads of anger disatisfication complaining of stuff and hatred all because of the same thing. Dont wanna care about it cause it's over. And the sec1 are so efficient! hahaha, not saying seniors are not but they were like super fast and enthu when you want them to do something. My gosh. And yan han from 1e4 could be both a prefect and a PSL cause he's so suitable! Then had pizza in the conference room much later. Packed up for home later. Everyone took their bags and waited for Gerald. Zi cong was made to clear the rubbish while gerald check the room and i hold the door. Then we all walked to white sands to go home. Then someone came up with this "at night when 3 people walk in a straight line, the middle person would go missing" trick. Zi cong and i went to trick everyone and leon cai was the funniest cause he really believed it and took a step back. hahaha! Then walked home with bell and joelin. Super duper tired but still have to blog.
Stupid things done today: 1. Made yan han jump to high-5 with me. Everyone agreed he looks SOOOO CUTE! X) 2. Made zi cong do the double-yay(V) hand thingy and putting it one hand by one cheeck. My gosh, everyone goes either so cute or so disgusted. hahaha. Tricia say he looks like mickey mouse. haha!
So in the end it didnt turn out to be that brief, but more info better anyway.
Things i have to say to netballers: really thank netballers for making my life so worthwhile. It has been great to be able to spend time with all of you. The bond between us seems to be getting stronger yea? After the seminar everyone just broke down but we became closer together. I really wish the netball spirit last forever in all of our hearts. We might have talked bad about each other before but we would always have heart-to-heart talks to thrash out all your unhappiness. The relief, sadness and happiness wouls always be released from us as tears. But we loved the talks cause we never bear long-term grudges. Lastly, we couldnt forget our number one netball-heart-to-heart talk fan who is bell(:
I'm so sorry for the first 3 days of school for not being able to spend time with you all because of orientation. I promise we'll be bonded closer together this year as it would be our last year together. Really loved each and every one of you to bits! during seminar there was a question about is it okay to have relationships. I said yes, cause i wanna have a relationship with all of you that even a couple couldnt dream of.(not being les, dont worry!) Couldnt believe time passes so quickly while you are having fun and just realised how much people meant to you, so much so you couldnt do without them. my gosh. I guess netballers would always be 9-timing. 8 with netballers and 1 with their own boyfriends! Well, time is short so let's just grab every chance we have now. I will organise loads of outings and bonding sessions for us to go out together and cherish the moments. Since we cant have so much fun we shall have more study outings then. hahaha, let's all promote together as one. Loving the love for you guys!
